MAGA fans lash out as Epstein survivors release ad during the Super Bowl: 'A psyop'
https://www.rawstory.com/trump-maga-2675178862/
Fans of President Donald Trump's MAGA movement lashed out at survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's heinous crimes on Sunday for releasing an advertisement during the Super Bowl.
Survivors plan to release an advertisement on social media calling out the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein files. Last week, the administration released the personal information of more than 40 victims, which one survivor said on Sunday was an attempt to "silence" them.
The ad is being released at a time when Congress is preparing to depose Epstein's accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, on Monday. Maxwell's attorneys have said she will invoke her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
News of the ad by survivors didn't sit well with some fans of Trump's MAGA movement, who shared their reactions on social media.

Trump posted on Truth Social that Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny's performance during the halftime show was "an affront" to America and said there was "nothing inspirational" about the first Spanish-language halftime show.
"It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesnt represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World."
Trump's comments caused a stir on social media, with political analysts and observers mocking the president's outburst.
"Grandpa found his phone at the nurses station," former political journalist Ron Fournier posted on X.

LUTNICK. Wouldn't it just be easier to compile a list of Trump goons who were NOT in cahoots with Epstein?

Massie on Howard Lutnick: "He should just resign. Three people in Great Britain resigned for less than what we've seen Howard Lutnick lie about. He clearly went to the island, if we believe what's in these files. He was in business with Jeffrey Epstein."

A 79 year old rapist felon con man and his social media account: "It reads like third world level political theatre"
Gandalv
@Microinteracti1
From a European perspective, this is genuinely embarrassing.
A Team USA athlete, Hunter Hess, has apparently criticised the United States while abroad, and the response being celebrated in the headline is not a calm rebuttal or a dignified clarification, but a president publicly going after him in a punishing, performative way. Even the wording, eviscerates, signals the point is humiliation, not leadership. It frames the country like a reality show where loyalty tests and public shaming are treated as governance.
You would have to search far and wide to find a country that manages to look this ugly in its politics and public behaviour, and a president who so perfectly mirrors it. In most democracies, a leader would rise above it, defend the countrys values without acting personally wounded, and avoid turning a citizen into a national punching bag. This is not strength and the MAGA regime drags the entire countrys reputation down. AGAIN!!

Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) just...effin'...EVISCERATES Trump for being bribed by Pedo Jeffy's pimp / wrangler
Ghislaine Maxwell, Epsteins co-conspirator whos currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, is slated to appear before the House Oversight Committee on Monday, but her lawyers have made clear that she plans to remain silent.
Maxwells vow to remain silent, Stansbury argued, was a thinly veiled appeal to Trump for leniency on her sentence, and one that Trumps past comments and actions suggest could succeed.
I think it's very clear that she is seeking either commutation or a pardon of her sentence, Stansbury told MS NOWs The Weekend on Sunday.
That's based on not only what she's done in the courts, but Trump made an off-handed comment yet again about giving her a pardon, and I think between the highly unusual transfer of her to Club Fed and him talking openly about pardoning her, it appears that he's buying her silence.

Jen Psaki and Sam Henneberry on Trump's "promise" to "donate" a $10 billion IRS "settlement" to "charity."
A very well-written piece. Adhering to the "4 paragraph rule" could not possibly do it justice. I encourage you to go the link and read the entire article.
The president has been caught lying about his charitable donations many, many times before.
So, as Trump tells it, he is going to order Bessent and Bondi, his direct subordinates, to pay him $10 billion of your money, but also, you shouldnt worry about that because he is going to give all of that money to charity.
Now this is sort of a Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me scenario, because Trump has been caught lying saying he was going to donate to charity and then not many, many times before.
For example, when Trump launched his 2016 presidential campaign, he claimed he had given more than $102 million to charity in the previous five years. His campaign released a 93-page list detailing all of those donations.
But there was one problem: It turns out not a single one of those donations was actually a personal gift of Trumps own money.

THE CLASSICS NEVER DIE: John Cleese, July 2018, on Trump's observation that the British "like him"
John Cleese
July 13, 2018
My American friends are asking me about President Trumpss observation that the British like him
I regret this is quite unfounded
The explanation for this canard is that Trump is pronoid
Pronoid is the opposite of paranoid. A paranoid person thinks, without any basis in reality, that everybody is out to get them. A pronoid person is someone who thinks, without any
basis in reality, that everybody likes them
The fact is that the British loathe Donald Trump
This is because he is the polar opposite of a Gentleman , who has qualities the British admire. A fine example is Gareth Southgate
To the British, a Gentleman ' is a man who is modest, well-mannered, self deprecating, quietly intelligent, considerate of other peoples feeling, and well-informed.
He is not vulgar, inflated, vain, boastful, noisily ignorant, sleazy and common as muck
I hope this clears up any confusion

Trump on Olympics BOO-gate: Vance "gets booed in foreign countries, but not in this country, because people like him"
There is the vice president JD Vance and his wife Usha oops, those are not those are a lot of boos for him, the commentator said. Whistling, jeering, some applause.
The brief moment highlighted the deep unpopularity of the Trump administration on the international stage. Olympians from the United States and other countries have spoken out against the administrations harsh immigration enforcement operations that have killed two U.S. citizens in the same city some more pointedly than others.
Asked about Vance being booed at the opening ceremony, President Donald Trump, who has alienated European allies with his threats to take over Greenland, told a reporter he was not aware of it.
Its surprising, because people like him, Trump said. Well, I mean, he is in a foreign country in all fairness, but he doesnt get booed in this country.
